How to make a seasonal room mist with essential oils

Want your home to smell like Christmas? Then why not try making this easy peasy to make room spray that you can spritz around your home to make it super cosy and festive.

This room spray recipe uses some gorgeous essential oil scents that trigger memories of Christmas and feelings of calm. The seasonal essential oil blend we will use combines Mandarin, Clove and Cinnamon, Christmas in a bottle.

The combination of Mandarin, Clove and Cinnamon is one of my best selling Winter candle fragrances at Candle HQ and it translates really well into a room spray.

You will only need a few simple and natural ingredients.

Here is your ingredients/shopping list:

50ml distilled water or witch hazel

How to make a festive room mist

Step 1

Add your essential oils into a small spray container

Step 2

Top up with distilled water or witch hazel and secure the liquid by putting on the lid.

Step 3

Blend together all the ingredients in the container by shaking it really well.

Step 4

Label your container, you could use a chalk pen, decorate a sticky label or if you are gifting to a friend, why not tie a handwritten mini luggage label around the top.

Step 5

Spritz your room. Room mists work well when spritzed onto fabrics. Test a small amount of your spray on a discreet part of the fabric before you go wild.

I hope you enjoy making this, let me know how you get on.

Be cosy,
