Lovely places for a mini break in the Cotswolds

Updated: Jun 11, 2022

If you are starting to think about your next getaway you wouldn’t go far wrong if you book a holiday in the Cotswolds. Honey cottages set in rolling hills and handsome villages are what the Cotswolds are famous for. I thought it might be helpful, as I've always got my ear to the ground around these parts to give you some details on a few of our favourite hideaways in the Cotswolds. Happy reading and dreaming.

Historic Tewkesbury

Tewkesbury park and golf course has been renovated recently and is a lovely place to spend time. With views of the Severn Valley and perched on the edge of the Cotswolds this family owned Georgian Manor House is a winner.

Tewkesbury Park, a room with a view.

Broadway

There are hotels galore in Broadway with lots of nice places to shop, eat and explore. Try the Lygon Arms, Dormy House or the Olive Branch B&B which is in the high street. If you fancied something a bit different there’s also a shepherds hut at The Fish, located at the top of Fish Hill, just outside Broadway.

Gorgeous cottages with fires

If you are looking for a self catering option, check out this lovely selection of cottages all with cosy fires. All the properties below are available to book from my friends at Bolthole Retreats. www.boltholeretreats.co.uk

Happy holiday planning and very warm wishes,
